  • 28% less likely to have a cesarean section
  • 31% less likely to use synthetic oxytocin to speed up labor
  • 9% less likely to use any pain medication

Birth Support

Bringing the knowledge and experience of a doula to your birth is like bringing a roadmap to navigate the common bumps and landmarks of the birth process. My years of experience include hospital and home birth settings and the variety of birth experiences found between them. My doula fee is $550 and includes:

2-4 Prenatal Visits to discuss your preferences for the birth including comfort techniques, your stance on interventions, any concerns you may have about the process and meeting the rest of your birth team
Assistance writing a birth plan
Access to my lending library, research and years of experience
Unlimited phone and email support as questions or concerns arise
My attendance at your labor and birth
Access to my labor support tools including a birth ball, my massage experience and massage tools, aromatherapy, hot/cold compresses and ginger compresses
Immediate postpartum support and help establishing breastfeeding as soon as possible
1-2 Postpartum visits and continuing breastfeeding support
Postpartum Support is also available:

Support for the first few weeks or the first few months! Service includes light housekeeping, baby care, mommy care, meal preparation and more.
